FTMS Sim privacy policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
FTMS Sim is an iPhone and iPad app by Atropical that simulates Bluetooth fitness machines for developers.
What we collect
Nothing. FTMS Sim does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data.
- No accounts, sign-in, analytics, advertising, crash reporting or tracking.
- No data leaves your device through us. We run no servers for this app.
Bluetooth
FTMS Sim uses Bluetooth to advertise a simulated fitness machine and to send simulated workout data to devices you choose to connect. The values are generated by the app from the controls you set; they are not measurements of you. Data you send from a connected device to FTMS Sim (for example control commands) is shown in the app’s log and is not stored after the app closes.
Stored on your device
The optional device name you type is saved on your device so it is remembered between launches. It is transmitted only as the Bluetooth device name you chose. Deleting the app removes it.
Children
FTMS Sim is a developer tool and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.
Changes
